We sell high quality men's products via the internet and have a lead position in a niche market successfully selling millions of euros per year.  We're looking for a international intern, with an excellent level of English and a good working knowledge of Spanish to help us penetrate the English speaking markets. As a market research trainee you will help us analyze a potential target market, profile that market, and investigate advertising method to reach that market.

Company Description
This very successful catalog business with seven employees has been in existence since 1993. They sell high quality and exclusive products targeting an upper class market. This was the second company in Spain to launch an ecommerce storefront application in the late 1990s.

Job Description
As a market developer you will increase your marketing skills by forming part of a team whose purpose is to expand the market reach of this mail order/internet business. You will profile a target market, investigate size, demographics, geographical distribution and propose methods to reach this market, analyzing the cost and potential profit of each campaign.

Learning Objectives
The learning objectives of your internship are a combined initiative between the company and GlobalEd including:

• Company History: You will understand how and when this company was founded and how its strategic position has created an uncontested niche
• Product: You will acquire an in-depth knowledge of the products sold, their elaboration process, and what makes this common product so unique.
• Market Research: You will investigate a target market and help design a campaign to reach that market.
• Proposals: You will provide suggestions for improvement based on your personal observations, experience and research.
