Steven has more than seven years of direct international work experience managing study abroad programs, creating internship opportunities for business students and directly managing the expectations of over 1000 study abroad students to ensure a safe, positive and unforgettable study abroad experience.

Prior to joining GlobalEd, Steven Davis was CEA's Campus Director for Seville & Granada, Spain. As Campus Director, Steven was responsible for program operations including short to long-term planning, overall program quality, host institution relations, local vendor relations, campus income statement management, program improvements and staff management for Seville and Granada programs. Steven also played a key role in supporting CEA's Regional Consultants in the promotion of programs to U.S. universities.

  

Prior to CEA, Steven was Resident Director in Seville, Spain for CIEE's Business and Society program, and was responsible for programs focused on business, language and culture as well as launching its internship program. During his five years with the organization, Steven participated in initiatives to strengthen relations with host institutions, setup and management of the internship program, as well as to improve overall program performance, design and management of an online language placement test. Previously, Steven had worked in the field of internet services and telecommunications as General Manager for a Spanish internet community, as Ecommerce Director for Arrakis, an internet services company owned by BT, and as co-owner of an ECommerce start-up in the mid-1990s in Miami, FL. 

  

He has earned an M.B.A. and M.S.I.B. (Master of Science in International Business) at the University of Miami (FL), through a program that allowed him to complete a 6-month internship in Argentina and has a B.A. in Spanish and Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (MA).  He is happily married and has two wonderful daughters and hopes to help provide students with the same wonderful study abroad opportunities he had as an undergraduate student.
