Company Description
This consulting firm founded in 2003 provides consulting services to small/large firms all of which need to conform to the European data protection laws (LOPD) which dictate what data can be retrieved from customers, how this information should be stored, what information can be disclosed and who can have access to this information. This consulting firm has seven employees in its Seville office.

Job Description
As a privacy officer trainee, you will work with a team of business consultants and will receive training in: the product, market research, customer interaction and creation of proposals. The rotation between areas will be evenly distributed throughout the session in which you will be participating. You will report to the CEO.

Learning Objectives
The learning objectives of your internship are a combined initiative between the company and GlobalEd including:

• Product: You will acquire an in-depth knowledge of the history of LOPD.
• Market Research: You will identify a sector and investigate the types of organizations that will most likely need our services.
• Customer Interaction: You will participate in site visits with our consultants, conferences (when available) and assist in the preparation of presentation.
• Proposals: You will participate in the creation of proposals which will be presented to potential customers.
