The University of Seville is a fully accredited, state-run institution located in Seville, Spain that is recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education as a degree granting institution of higher learning. Established in 1551, the main building is the actual setting for Bizet’s famous Opera, Carmen, and currently houses the Language, History & Geography and Law departments of the University of Seville, as well as courses in Spanish language, culture, history and geography designed for the international student. Today, the university has approximately 70,000 undergraduate and graduate students.

The University of Seville’s main building is located in downtown Seville. While several buslines will take you from all parts of Seville to the campus, the main building is only a 15-20 walk from most housing assignments. |
