GlobalEd has partnered with HTH Worldwide Insurance to provide our program participants with one of the most comprehensive medical coverage plans available while abroad.   

Each year, over 100,000 students and scholars traveling protect themselves with HTH insurance plans. Our plans combine comprehensive insurance protection with critical information and international medical assistance services to help you find and receive quality healthcare services all around the world.

HTH Worldwide has carefully selected and contracted with over 5,000 physicians and hospitals in 180 countries outside the U.S. to serve our members. HTH Worldwide Insurance Services administers these plans, delivering convenient customer service online and via a toll-free multilingual call center. Members can search for a doctor, view plan information, download forms and more.

Students - Once you receive your Medical Insurance ID card from HTH Worldwide, you will be supplied access information to a website providing comprehensive information and services relating to your plan. You will be able to track claims, search for a doctor that speaks English, find local namebrand medication equivalent for familar brands in the U.S., view plan information, download claim forms and read health and security information.

Parents - We know that sending your child halfway around the world raises concerns, can cause stress and a sense of helplessness if your child needs medical care.  While medical emergencies are uncommon, GlobalEd staff are easily accessible via an emergency phone number supplied to students and parents and available 24/7 to handle all types of emergencies.  Our medical insurance provider also provides a website specific for parents eager to help their children abroad by finding specialized doctors, making appointments, etc...
